王鉑博士，南方科技大學醫學院助理教授。2015年畢業于中國科學院神經科學研究所，獲神經生物學博士學位；隨后在美國加州理工學院（Caltech）從事博士后研究工作；2024年7月加入南方科技大學醫學院醫學神經科學系。長期從事神經生理和動物行為的神經環路基礎等方面的研究。以第一作者身份在Nature Neuroscience、Cell Reports和Frontiers in Cellular Neuroscience等雜志上發表原創性研究成果；另外以合作者身份在Nature、Cell和Nature Communications等雜志上發表論文，總被引用次數超過2000次。
研究領域
課題組主要以鳴禽（如zebra finch）為動物模型，輔以跨物種比較，研究
1） 發聲學習的細胞和神經環路基礎；
2） 習得行為的學習過程及其長期穩定性的神經基礎；
3） 鳥類高級認知功能的神經基礎。
