Basic Introduction:

ZHANG Mengtao research focuses on the environmental behavior, toxicity and environmental risk of emerging contaminates, with a particular emphasis on the toxicological properties and environmental transformation products of these contaminants. He discovered that transformation products of phenolic pollutants exhibit higher toxicity compared to their original substrates, increasing environmental risk uncertainty.

1. Laboratory synthesis and toxicological study of potentially highly toxic products of emerging contaminates.
