BIO

WANG Haidong got his doctorate degree of Applied Biological Sciences in Ghent University (BE) and trained himself as post-doc in the lab of Virology in Wageningen University (NL). He joined the Southern University of Science and Technology (CN) in 2021 as an Assistant Professor. His current research focuses on the virus-virus and virus-host interaction mechanism during the transmission of mosquito-borne viruses. He and his colleagues’ research findings were published in peer reviewed journals like EMERG MICROBES INFEC, PLOS NTD and PARASITE VECTOR.
