One SUSTecher awarded as role model in China's fight against COVID-19

On September 8, President and Chief Physician of the Second Affiliated Hospital of SUSTech (Shenzhen Third People’s Hospital) Lei LIU was honored as a role model at the ceremony to commend role models in China’s fight against COVID-19 (the Meeting).
The Meeting took place in the Great Hall of the People and awarded recipients with medals, honorary titles, outstanding individuals and groups in the fight against COVID-19.
Following the Meeting, Lei LIU shared his views with the media, “I am honored to receive the awards. However, I am merely a representative of the entire medical community of Shenzhen and the city. The glory belongs to Shenzhen!”
